Cloud services become increasing important to businesses of all sizes. This is because cloud serves are easy to use, flexible, and lack large upfront expenditures. However, drawbacks include the lack of understanding of the differences in managing traditional data centers and these cloud environments. Misconfigured cloud resources then lead to breaches. This paper analyzes AWS Config, Prowler, and Scout Suite to determine which of the three cloud auditing tools provides the best value to organizations.
