The United States has created a new cybersecurity strategy to tighten regulations on the current cybersecurity practices. This is due to the combined series of hacking events against the US and during the Russian-Ukrainian war, which has seen cyber warfare at the heart of the conflict. Within the new US strategy, China and Russia are named as the largest security threats. In particular, Russia, and Russian hackers, are seen especially as a threat due to the fact that Russia has provided a safe haven to many hackers.
