Nordic Council seeks Deeper Regional Cybersecurity Cooperation

Abstract:

The article reports that the Nordic countries are planning to develop a common cybersecurity strategy in order to improve their collective ability to counter cyber threats. The five Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden—have agreed to work together to strengthen their cybersecurity defenses and share information and expertise. While potential collaborations in cyber have been explored since 2016, the Russia-Ukraine War has hastened the process. The Nordic Defense Cooperation (NORDEFCO) is expected to play a leading and coordinating role in this collaboration.
