This article discusses the importance of global cooperation as a response to growing cyber threats. It goes on to state that the effort for cooperation surrounding cybersecurity has largely been led by the intelligence community. However, now, other government agencies are stepping up to increase cooperation to strengthen themselves from attacks. The article concludes with why cooperation between countries in this regard is so important. For the most part, it is due to the fact that knowing characteristics about cyber attacks help protect against future attacks, and sharing this knowledge will strengthen countries globally.
