Electronic Medical Record System vulnerabilities are an easy target for hackers to steal personal data. With more and more expensive attacks occurring, EMR vendors need to work with security researchers to identify and fix these vulnerabilities before they are exploited. These efforts are not yet consolidated. This paper provides specific areas for researches to focus efforts on securing EMR applications in order to protect data.
