Malware has started to target more critical infrastructure such as vaccine makers, while using more advanced malware. This malware attack also shows how sometimes the critical need for a product causes businesses and customers to overlook possible cybersecurity hazard. For example, the vaccine makers were so hard-pressed to churn out vaccines that they neglected to patch holes within their networks.
