Ooni Probe is a tool that grew out of efforts from the Tor foundation to allow anyone to measure internet censorship around the world. It is maintained by the Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI), with the mission of building decentralized software to maintain transparency across the internet, and raise awareness about oppressive practices that aim to restrict the freedom of information and communication around the world. Anyone can download the tool, and start measuring censorship on a global scale.
