Two representatives Crawford and Duarte worked to get the development of cyberseucrty requirements in the water sector. This development lead to the Water Risk and Resilience Organization Establishment Act (WRRO) with the hopes of getting cybersecurity requirements in place for drinking and wastewater systems. This comes with the hopes of stoping other countries named Russia and China from hacking into the water system and stopping critical infrastructure.
