Hackers are a large source of threat for the United States Government, and the most threatening are Russians, and secondly Chinese hackers. North Korea has also conducted high-profile attacks, especially when it is related towards negative content towards North Korea. Federal Regulatory power and its role in cybersecurity is not defined, and many have opposing viewpoints on the extent that it should play in the cyber sphere. Nation-state hackers are the most serious threat, and the U.S. should leverage the forces of the market to make the investments needed to secure the country’s diverse cyber networks.
