This article examines the possible cybersecurity repercussions of the rise of cloud computing. While cloud computing allows higher productivity and often makes it easier for small businesses to perform IT functions, the very premise of cloud computing causes the companies to have less control over where there data is stored and how security is implemented. In the article, the authors ” illustrate the use of a cyber security metrics to define an economic security model for cloud computing system” and “propose a solution related to the vulnerabilities in cloud computing in order to reduce the probability that the components fail”.
