Digital Identity in the Cyberspace

Abstract:

This paper tackles the challenges on building a digital identity in the cyberspace. As in the cyberspace users “can unbundle identity from content and transactions” in a way that fails to be directly analogous to the physical world. Changes in architecture, or physical security checks can have drastic ramifications in the “cyberspace community. Creating balance between extrema such as link vs. no link, or anonymity vs. accountability raises many questions with unclear solutions.
