Cybersecurity as we know it will be ‘a thing of the past in the next decade,’ says Cloudflare’s COO, as security moves towards a ‘water treatment’ model

Michelle Zatlyn, cofounder of Cloudflare, explains her vision for the future of cybersecurity. Threats related to cybersecurity have become more pronounced as millions of people have started working from home, creating new vulnerabilities. Michelle believes that in the future her product, and others, will act as a filter when accessing the internet, blocking bad actors earlier. She also believes that it is currently easier and cheaper than ever to build a secure workplace thanks to tools and services available for purchase from third parties.
