Cybersecurity in Healthcare: A systematic review of modern threats and trends

Abstract:

This paper is an analysis of numerous studies selected by a panel of researchers. Technologies evolve faster than medical devices can be updated. Even in cases were security systems are installed, oftentimes physicians circumvent systems in order to complete work properly. However, it is expected that healthcare providers will be “negatively impacted by cybersecurity dissatisfaction”. An appropriate response is critical to maintaining the integrity of the Healthcare system.
