The U.S. Financial Services Sector (FSS) is one of the best public institutions at establishing strong collaboration policy with private institutions for the sake of cybersecurity. This paper aims to understand how current collaboration between the public and private sectors came to exist, as well as identify where collaboration could be improved to benefit cybersecurity on both ends. Through analyzing public data and interviewing the study finds numerous short coming in current collaboration policy and recommends policy ideation to strengthen public and private sector cybersecurity.
