With the rise of China’s IT industry, more Chinese companies are gaining an international presence. Due to this, China’s cybersecurity industry has entered a critical period of development. Many Chinese companies are responsible for information and data transactions, they are also targets of cyberattacks. There has also been a large increase in the Internet coverage and speed across China. Thus, the need for cybersecurity and regulations has increased. This article outlines many of the current faults and vulnerabilities behind the rising demand for cybersecurity.
