An attack on the Canadian electric utility Nova Scotia Power was uncovered on April 25, 2025; when unauthorized usage of their network was found. Nova Scotia Power and its parent company Emera quarantined the compromised servers. While no outages were caused, the customer support line and web portal were both disrupted. Emera and Nova Scotia Power are continuing to investigate the intrusion, though no further information has been publicized since April 28.
