Cyberspace is a piece of daily life, and the Department of Homeland Security aims to make it “safe, secure and resilient.” Two of DHS’ goals include protecting the critical information infrastructure and creating a strong cyber ecosystem. Aims to protect vital systems and create drive for people to make a secure cyberspace. Goals include “reducing exposure to cyber risk”; quick response and recovery; maintain awareness and increased resilience; allow organizations to operate in cyberspace securely; make more useful and trustworthy protocols; make communities; ensure transparency.
