GAO reports that the federal government is lacking expretise in the fields of cybersecurity and AI. However, the government is attempting to put into place ambitious cybersecurity initiatives such as building new portals for healthcare. Moreover, it is trying to incentivize better cybersecurity by giving priority to defense contractors who have a higher level of cybersecurity.
