The cybersecurity landscape is changing and the future of cybersecurity will be affected as many things are by the emergence of Generative AI and Large Language Models. There are LLM applications from “hardware design security, intrusion detection, design verification, and malware and phishing detection.” Models such as LLAMA, GPT 3.5 and GPT 4 are creating huge advancements. However, AI will also increase and find vulnerabilities that are more impactful such as prompt injection, data poisoning, DDoS attacks and more. 42 LLMs were evaluated for their abilities cybersecurity knowledge and hardware security.
