This paper discusses the increasing threat of malware in computer systems and the importance of utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for detecting and preventing malware activity. It covers various aspects including the history of computing, the evolution of malware, different types of malware, existing malware detection techniques, and the potential of AI in enhancing malware detection systems. The study emphasizes the need for futuristic approaches in developing robust security tools and antivirus systems, especially in industries like finance and healthcare. It reviews current methodologies, discusses their limitations, and proposes ideas for future research directions.
